On June 15th, 2026, I will be performing a chamber music concert at the David Josafowitz Recital Hall in the Royal Academy of Music. This is an exciting opportunity for me to showcase my skills in a more intimate setting and collaborate with other talented musicians.
I will be playing in a piano trio with two other talented musicians, Vivian Qu and Peiying Li, who are also students at the Royal Academy of Music.
We will be playing Beethoven's Trio in E-flat major, Op. 70 and Faure's Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 120.
Beethoven's Trio in E-flat major, Op. 70, is a beautiful and complex piece of music that showcases the interplay between the piano, violin, and cello. It is known for its emotional depth and technical demands, making it a rewarding piece to perform.
Faure's Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 120, is a lyrical and expressive piece that highlights the melodic capabilities of the piano, violin, and cello. It is a wonderful piece that allows us to explore the rich harmonies and intricate interplay between the instruments.
I am looking forward to this performance and hope to see many of you there to enjoy the music with us!
